Dr. Espana took exceptional time in the examination of my condition to be sure my particular condition was improving.

After losing most of my vision in my eye other ophthalmologists offered appointments 9 weeks out, USF Health ophthalmology got me an appointment with Dr. Espana in 3 days. He found dangerously high eye pressure and started treatment immediately. I credit his fast action and knowledge for restoring my vision, for which I will always be grateful.

After not getting any help from other doctors while I lost most of my vision in my right eye, Dr. Espana's office got me in in 3 days, He sensed how worried I was about any treatments, and was very positive and reassuring that we would get my vision back. It took a huge worry off immediately just to hear him.

I think the cornea specialist was a bit flustered/upset that he was running one hour late. I wasn't upset at all about the delay. He was so rushed, that I don't think he listened to my concerns carefully. He was polite enough. I don't think my problem was deemed very serious so I didn't need a lot of attention.

After waiting 1.25 hours to see the provider he was very quick. While I thought he did a complete assessment, I am upset at how he explained the treatment I will need to under go for my issues.
