Sara Caceres Reynolds, MD

Dr. Sara C√°ceres is a board-certified family physician who has served the Tampa Bay area community since 2015. Fluent in English and Spanish, the Puerto Rico native graduated from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine. Dr. C√°ceres completed a family medicine residency at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga., and received the Community Service Award in 2002.

After training, Dr. C√°ceres worked in private practice until 2008, when she joined The Southeast Permanente Medical Group in Georgia. In addition to treating patients full time, she served as lead physician in adult ambulatory medicine for three medical offices.

Dr. Cáceres has made an impact in medically underserved communities through several volunteer initiatives and faith-based programs. Additionally, she has participated in medical mission work projects in the Caribbean and South America. Her desire to reach community members has involved numerous media engagements, including health-related pieces for Latina magazine, NBC Latino and a recurrent presence as a guest speaker on CNN Español.

Dr. C√°ceres is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Medical Association. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
