Sherry Barbara Leib, PhD

Sherry Leib, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and board certified sexologist who has worked at Tampa General Hospital since 2000, treating a wide variety of patients with various medical diagnoses. Currently, Dr. Leib provides psychological assessment and short-term, evidence-based treatments to both inpatients and outpatients with medical and behavioral health concerns.

Dr. Leib is also a licensed occupational therapist who began her career as a licensed marriage family therapist in Los Angeles, where she received her doctorate and master's degree in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Her professional interests include chronic pain management, rehabilitation/health psychology, sexual health, oncology, trauma informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy and positive psychology/prevention. Currently, Dr. Leib is working with patients and their families diagnosed with COVID-19.

Dr. Leib is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Psychosocial Oncology Society, and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.
