Robert Pohl is an excellent PA. He is a great listener and is never in a rush.

Dr Pohl was absolutely an all around amazing doctor. He listens attentively (he isn't taking notes or writing things down he just sits and listens). He allowed me to make my own decisions about my body and my health and once I made my decision he explained to me how i could get there on my own rather than taking medication. He went over at the end what we talked about and the plan on how to achieve better health and advised when to follow up to make sure I'm tracking appropriately.

Dr. Pohl always keeps me informed of the medicine I take and the risks of it and has suggestions if he feels necessary.

Dr. Pohl is extremely pleasant and caring. Always has a smile and explains everything so I can understand it. He is a very busy man, but always gives me all the time I need and never rushes my visit.

He did a nice job easing my concerns

Dr. Pohl takes time to listen to what i have to say about my care. Plus goes above and beyond when he thinks something does not seem right When blood pressure was higher than normal he futher investagated giving me other test to figure out the cause. He ended adjusting medication which has made a differance.

My first time here and I really like Dr. Pohl. I hope he continues with USF Cardiology.

I have faith in the care team and have referred several friends because of services I received here.

Rob Pohl was great. Patient, kind, engaged, informative, knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging. He gave me peace of mind, options for learning more about my overall cardiac health and potential for developing heart disease in the future, and advise on how to further improve my current health and conditions. All without coming across as judgemental or disapproving or anything negative, which would deter me or add to my stress.

This is the only clinic I would recommend in our area for cardiac or vascular needs.

I feel that Dr. Pohl is "dismissive" about concerns that I raise. In fact, he laughed at me one time when I expressed a concern.

Robert Pohl was very attentive to my care. He listened to everything I said and commented when needed for clarification. He explained the reason for the cardiac monitor he was prescribing.

To be clear, this is about Dr Pohl only. Concern the care provider showed for your questions or worries - Pohl was visibly utterly annoyed at my questions and confusion. Even scoffing at certain follow up questions i shared (due to his poor explanation of anything i was asking.) Once Pohl shared that my test results were clear and didn't indicate a cardio problem, he GENUINELY could not care less. Explanations the care provider gave you about your problem or condition - If I asked a question, he would explain some incredibly irrelevant extreme example (to dramatize my concern) and disregard my actual question. Saying "its not like you could have heart failure youre a 26 YO female." to which I asked if it was impossible or just rare, given his disregard, and he scoffed at me. Efforts to include you in decisions about your care about your care - he decided nothing. I had to ask HIM "so what am I supposed to do now?" no care or concern, said it wasn't his teams problem.
