I have literally been under the care of dozens of different providers throughout my 17 year journey with serious medical conditions. That being said, Dr. Jennifer Costa, has been a true positive example of what a physician can be. Dr. Costa provides concentrated, thorough care, at all times. I see seven total physicians on a regular basis, and I can sincerely state that Dr. Costa is a consummate professional, who practices with compassion, listens, and provides clear direction at every juncture. Often times my other Specialist Providers see me for 5 minutes, and my queries are ignored, the plan of care is abandoned etc. I have NEVER experienced this with Dr. Costa. As a matter of fact, the polar opposite is the case. She always remembers the details of my case and facilitates my coordinated care with outstanding precision. I always leave the office with my questions answered, knowing the plans moving forward, and all of this while being treated with the utmost dignity and respect. I do not possess the words in my lexicon to describe how fortunate I am to have Dr. Costa as my Primary Care Physician. Dr. Costa is a true example of how great health care providers can be, and the students at USF Morsani would be well served to model future practice with Dr Costa's pristine example of concentrated care as the Gold Standard. I should not be alive, that is a biostatistcal absolute. I am alive and have plans to stay that way because of this spectacular physician, who has navigated me through the USF/TGH system, and into the hands of the right providers to facilitate my continued existence. There are no words... I considered my safe blessed, and cannot express my gratitude to the good doctor enough. If anyone ever questions the quality of care at USF, the talents in medicine and interpersonal communication skills of Dr. Jennifer Costa as a representation would put the most scrutinizing patient at ease. Dr. Costa is everything a physician should strive to be. I am fully confident with my life in her hands. I cannot say that about any one of the hundreds of physicians I have encountered over the years. Thank you for your time. Thank you to Dr. Costa and her staff.
