Chelsea Pereira, APRN

Chelsea Pereira is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Pereira is skilled in providing care to diverse patient populations and works in collaboration with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to foster a friendly, caring environment. Pereira works responsibly, with calm and organization, to emphasize good health and disease prevention.

Prior to joining Tampa General Medical Group, she treated patients at Your Family Walk-In Clinic in Lutz, Fla. Pereira previously worked for Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Fla. She treated patients on an active stroke, cardiac, telemetry and COVID-19 floor at Mease. Pereira also was a preceptor to new nurses and students. As needed, she was a relief charge nurse of a 34-bed unit.

Pereira received her Master of Science in Nursing degree at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Fla., and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Utica College in Utica, N.Y. She also received a bachelor's degree in health sciences from the University of South Florida.
