I grew up in California and Oregon enjoying beaches and the mountains. After high school I began my medical career in the United States Air Force as a Medic, serving at home and abroad. From there I earned my Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of South Florida. I practiced as a bedside nurse for 5 years while going back to school to earn my doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner, also from USF. I then joined the team hear at USF Internal Medicine and Pediatrics where I have been proudly serving this community since 2020.

Dr. Andrew Armstrong is simply the best family practice physician I have ever had. He is readily available - both in-person and via telehealth - and his approachability puts you at ease from the moment you walk in.What sets him apart isn't just his expertise & skill; it's the entire experience his office delivers. His staff is exceptionally well-trained in patient care and makes full use of MyChart in a way I haven't seen elsewhere - proactively curating educational tabs with content that's directly relevant to what I'm experiencing or should be aware of. That kind of thoughtful, personalized follow-through between visits is rare.The office runs with a level of efficiency that reflects genuine respect for patients' time, and every interaction - whether in the office or through the portal - feels coordinated and purposeful.Dr. Armstrong is the most disarming and personable physician I have encountered in over two decades of navigating healthcare. TGH, this community, and especially his patients are very fortunate to have him.

NP Andrew is professional. In addition, he's very thorough and has patience. He explains the treatment plan in terms understood by the patient and answers all questions.

The USF team provides wonderful a wonderful medical service and it should be very clear they are meeting their mark of providing world class medical care.
