Provider has changed a lot since I first started with him and I will be leaving the practice. Has gone from a compassionate, curious and encouraging person to a rushed, lecturing, shaming person who is inconsistent. Looked at results from last year that were fine per his messages and freaked out this year. I don't know why the same numbers give a different reaction this year. Spent too much time on obvious problems and not enough time on the actual questions I had. Could not wait to get out of there.

When I was first assigned to Adeel Farooqui, an APRN, I was hesitant to do so because I wanted a doctor. Boy, was I wrong. I had been looking for a PCP for quite a while in our re-location to St. Pete from Boston. I learned rather quickly that he was thorough and very knowledgeable about medicine, especially when it came to my medical status. Since I have been with him he has diagnosed problems very quickly, been extremely personable in his interaction , and given me a very high confidence in his abilities. The long and the short of it is simply, throw out any pre-conceived opinions of what the person treating you has as an acronym by their name, and gauge them on their ability to treat you. Adeel is exceptional in my book and I am extremely happy he is my PCP.
