Rodney Ellis, MD

Dr. Rodney Ellis is a distinguished Radiation Oncologist specializing in adult malignancies, with a focus on genitourinary cancers like prostate, bladder, and renal cancer. He earned his Medical Doctor Degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Dr. Ellis has held faculty positions as Associate and later Professor in Radiation Oncology, Urology, and Radiology at Case Western Reserve University. He also held the esteemed position of Inaugural Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology for the Penn State University/Penn State Cancer Institute and the Milton Hershey Medical Center, making significant contributions to the Penn State Health Cancer Network.

Dr. Ellis maintains a professional membership in the following societies: American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American Brachytherapy Society, and the American Urological Association (AUA). He is also a current manuscript reviewer and has served as a board member for various journals including the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics and Brachytherapy Journal.
